Weapons for Our Time: Divine Mercy and The Blessed Mother

For such a time as this, we have all we need. God has actually increased our spiritual riches during the last century through the messages of Fatima and the Divine Mercy devotion.
Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, the director of the Association of Marian Helpers, and Tony Mullen, founder oMyConsecration.org, will explain how we can tap into the gifts that God showers upon us and how to be a part of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary this Divine Mercy Sunday, at 7-8:45 PM Eastern. The live broadcast of “Divine Mercy and the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary” in Stockbridge, MA, can be watched by going here.

“Divine Mercy and the Blessed Mother are the two spiritual messages of our time,” Father Alar explained during an interview. “Satan didn’t just overthrow Adam or just Eve, he overthrew both of them. We need the new Adam—Jesus fills that role and brings redemption—and Mary is the new Eve.”
Father Alar will explain during his talk, Mary’s role in salvation history, why she is not an obstacle to our relationship with Jesus but a link, and the significance of Fatima. According to him, Mary brings us into the heart of Jesus, like no one else can.
“Mary is not a replacement to Jesus, but why wouldn’t we want the best guide?” he asked. “We are stumbling around in the wilderness; it’s called life.  If we have access to the best guide, we can avoid a lot of misery, getting lost, getting hurt…” With the best guide we can make our trip amazingly more beneficial. Jesus is the goal, but Mary is the best guide to get us to that goal.”
To completely put ourselves under Mary’s protection and guidance, Father Alar said we should consecrate ourselves to her. “That is us totally trusting her, that she is going to lead us to safety, just like a little child trusts its mother. She will do the work if we let her. When we try to do it on our own, it is so much harder.”
Father Alar will also explain the channels of grace available to us through the Divine Mercy message. “Pope Benedict XVI told us that the Divine Mercy message is the heart of the gospel,” he said.  “If we reject that message, we reject the Gospel."
The extraordinary promise Jesus offered us through his Divine Mercy and what we need to do to receive it, will be discussed, as well as explain the feast day itself, the image, the chaplet, and the hour of Divine Mercy.
“We are in the time of mercy,” Father Alar explained. “We know that while God’s mercy is infinite, but the time of mercy is not. Pope Francis has told us that we have a small window of mercy, so we don’t want to miss this time of grace.”
Anthony Mullen has dedicated his life to the Church through Mary in number of ways.   He founded Children of the Father Foundation in1997, which has become the world’s largest provider of reduced cost materials on the Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary. The MyConsecration.org website seeks to bring the devotion to every corner of the world.
During his talk, he will discuss how to love Our Lady as God has asked us to do and how to become devoted to her Immaculate Heart.  Mullen will also explain what loving exercises God wants from us, what the New Pentecost is, how is this related to Era of Peace and the Triumph of our Lady and how we can do our part to bring about the Triumph.
Please share this with your friends and family and on social media.  The talks will be recorded and available afterwards at: http://www.MyConsecration.org/DivineMercy.
