    This past week knocked me down in a way I don’t usually succumb. It’s not just our country, it’s our Church too for a number of reasons.

I hunkered down and prayed more. I focused on the fact that spiritual things are most important and they are all that is going to matter in the end. I also realize that even if I personally feel helpless, my prayers make a difference.

A week later, light is showing through. I’m still somewhat on autopilot and I know from a few friends, I’m not the only one. But I also know that we need to shine our lights and live our faith more boldly than ever before. We won’t be defeated regardless of what happens around us. It is between us and Jesus, first and foremost. I am recommitting to living boldly and true to my faith. 

I don ‘t want to get into big topics right now. I have a new book I’m working on and I’m going to be a TV Talk show host—"Ladies of Another View”—starting November 30, so there will be opportunities to shout from the rooftops.
