Devotion to the Precious Blood is a devotion to the very passion and death of our Lord Jesus Christ who shed his blood as the price for our redemption. It is a powerful and intimate way to pray for reparation of sin and for our intentions. Here are some prayers that do that.
The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is at the heart of the Divine Mercy devotion given to St. Faustina. The prayers call on the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.
Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world. For the sake of his sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Another prayer revealed to St. Faustina by Jesus, “Oh Blood and Water” also known as the “Conversion Prayer” again calls on the blood of Jesus. Its full text, as reported in her diary, is: O blood and water, which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us, I/we trust in You.
And here is the “Litany of the Precious Blood” recommended by Auxilium Christianorum, a prayer support for exorcists to be prayed by them daily.
