Please take
notice!
Our
country officially stands out as one of only seven countries in the world that
permits the killing of a viable, pain-sensitive child in the womb after 20
weeks. We stand with China, North Korea, Canada, the Netherlands, Singapore,
and Vietnam. In France, Italy, and Germany, abortion is illegal after 12 weeks
of pregnancy.

The Senate failed
Monday evening to pass the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which was based
on scientific evidence showing that pre-born babies feel pain beginning at 20-weeks’
gestation. It would have banned abortions after 20 weeks. The Democrats
filibustered the bill. In a 51–46 vote, it failed to make it out of debate and
to a final floor vote.
Is this representative
government?  No!  It’s another shocking indication of how blood
thirsty and out of touch Democrats and two Republicans are on abortion.
The Democrats who voted
against protecting babies after 20 weeks opposed the majority of Americans
who favor legally restricting late-term abortions. Just this month,
a
Marist poll
found that nearly two-thirds of Americans support a 20-week
abortion ban. That includes over half of Democrats and over half of respondents
identifying as “pro-choice.”
Pro-life advocacy group Susan B. Anthony List announced they will target the four Democratic senators from Trump states who opposed the ban to protect the often viable babies, that are up for re-election in 2020: Sherrod Brown from Ohio, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, North Dakota’s Heidi Heitkamp and Montana’s Jon Tester. Two Republicans — Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska — voted with the pro-abortion Democrats.
Heidi Hietkamp high fiving Chuck Schumer after the vote.

I am from North Dakota,
home of radical pro-abortion Senator Heidi Heitkamp. She was raised Catholic and still claims to be Catholic (in the Bismarck diocese) believe it or not. During her last campaign, she made brochures that had a
picture of a pregnant woman on it.  That
is usually an image that makes people think: prolife. Under it she said she was for prenatal
care.  Give me a break!  It was a manipulation to try and give the
impression she has pro-life sympathies. After all, who isn’t for prenatal care?
Oh wait.  She’s not!  She’s in favor of poisoning and ripping apart
unborn babies right up until the time they are old enough to be born.

The bill she helped defeat
was based on scientific evidence showing that unborn babies have the capacity to feel
pain beginning at 20-weeks’ gestation. Senators who opposed this ban, stand for
late-term abortion procedures that involve lethal injections and dismembering
a highly developed baby. Since the majority of Americans are
against this, who do they represent?  Is
this what voting their conscience looks like for them?
May God have mercy on their
souls.  And may they never again win an
election.
